Independence Day

Happy Independence Day, (also known as the Fourth of July)!
It’s a great day in the history of the United States. It’s the day we celebrate our independence as a country. Imagine the coordination and organization that went into putting the pieces of that puzzle together. Whew! It boggles the mind.
Today is a great time to think about your independence as a business owner. It’s time to appreciate the autonomy that comes with owning your own business. You have the ability to set your own hours, create your own programs and build unique relationships with others in your industry.
Many think they want to own their own business but when the dream becomes reality they realize that it isn’t as easy as they had anticipated. It’s hard work, without a doubt, but in my opinion well worth it. Today I thought I would share with you three reasons why I feel that way.
- I’ve been my own boss for so many years I wouldn’t know how to do anything else. I love the ability to make the big & small decisions for myself that directly affect my family and myself. In other words, I’m in charge of my own destiny. I like it that way.
- I have control over my schedule and that suits me. Sometimes that means I work all day and other times it means that I work all night. I won’t say that I never have any surprises… but for the most part I know what is coming and can plan accordingly.
- My financial destiny is controlled by my actions. This is a big one! My income is only limited by my imagination and creativity.
Do these things resonate with you? My guess is if you have your own business or have been considering it, you probably agree with all three. That’s why you have been given the gift of entrepreneurialism.
On this day, Independence Day, focus on your own independence as a business owner. Your success is only limited by your imagination and creativity. You have the ability to change lives… actually change the world one life at a time! Wow! That’s mind-boggling isn’t it! But it’s true.
I believe in your success as a health, wellness & fitness practitioner.
Do me a favor… On this day, Independence Day, celebrate your own independence. Shout from the rooftops that you own your own business and you are PROUD OF IT!
