How many times have you heard this advice, “Build your email list for a profitable business”?

This is great advice and 100% true of any wellness business wanting to be successful.

While building your email list is certainly a necessary strategy to get more clients and make more sales, there is another part of the equation that is equally important which is rarely discussed.

It’s the follow up that happens after someone subscribes to your email list.

Initially, they should receive the freebie or gift that you promised them immediately upon entering their name and email.

In the days to follow, they should also be receiving automated emails from you that share more valuable tips, showcase your expertise, spotlight success stories and introduce them to one of your programs or services.

But what happens when you do everything right by putting all of these steps in place and something inconceivable happens?

Your emails don’t make it to your new subscribers inbox.

Instead your emails are ending up in their SPAM folder. Which is code for… they are completely being overlooked, which makes your efforts to nurture this brand new relationship useless.

No worries though. There are simple steps you can take to make sure this never happens to you and to almost guarantee they get delivered to your new subscribers inbox.

In this week’s episode of The Wellness Business Podcast, we are interviewing Automation Expert, Dawn Marrs.

We will be discussing the 6 Steps To Increasing Email Deliverability So You Don’t End Up In Your Subscribers SPAM Folder.

By the end of this episode you’ll discover:

  • Why email marketing is the number one source for income in your business and what you need to do to make it work for you
  • What a follow up email sequence looks like: how many emails and what the email content must include
  • Why your fear of unsubscribes is actually causing you significant harm in your business and what you can do to change it
  • The key to getting your subscribers to engage with your emails, which ultimately increases deliverability.
